I've already done two full playthroughs of the game and have another one planned for a charity event. In closing, I may be a bit biased because I was "hacked" while streaming, but it really is a fantastic game. Its hard to compare to other platformers to be honest because, while it is a platformer, its unlike any other platformer I've ever played. Personally, I loved it, but I could definitely see how some people could say there isn't enough "game" to justify the $15 price tag. The twitch integration is a blast as well allowing viewers to add their own flavor of challenge to the run.Įh, its borderline for the price I'd say. Surprisingly, yes! When I first saw the game I thought "cool concept, but how can they make this interesting for more than a few minutes?" After inevitably buying it, the game does a great job introducing the core concepts of the game with the basic levels, then introducing new challenges such as antigravity, hazards, and more precise jumps. This could have been avoided with the Navitron Autodrive System How would you compare the game to other platformers? The player's cumulative score points can be used to purchase one of several abilities, such as a double jump or a quick boost of speed, which can then be used to either successfully pass more difficult levels or to improve one's time and scoring on earlier ones. On each stage, the player is scored based on how fast they reach a goal line and a number of style points based on various tricks, such as jumping off a truck that is currently in mid-air. The player is unable to touch anything other than trucks, and will else fail their task of reaching the goal at the end of the level. They are set to jump onto a moving line of trucks, avoiding obstacles and truck pile-ups and crashes. In Clustertruck, the player controls a character from a first-person perspective.
